My name is Ryan Headley and I am the director of Vineland All Middle School Productions (VAMP) which produces the middle school musical each year at Veterans Memorial School at 424 S. Main Road. This will be my 4th year of directing at VAMP and this year we are excited to be performing Aladdin Jr. I look forward to continuing this wonderful musical theater program and I hope with your help we can get the word out to all our middle school students.
The program is open to all students who attend school within the City of Vineland and are in Grades 6th through 8th. Our theatre program is a Vineland Public School district-funded program. We typically get a good variety of students from throughout the Vineland middle schools. Our program is a great opportunity for middle school students to learn more about musical theater as well as interact with other children throughout the district.
I have attached two flyers for you to distribute to the appropriate grade levels and students. The first flyer is for the Director's Meet and Greet to be held next Thursday, October 5th at Veterans Memorial School at 6:30 pm. The second flyer is the Audition Notice. Auditions will be held on October 17th between 6 and 9 pm at Veterans Memorial School. The show dates are The show dates will be March 21, 22, and 23. and rehearsals typically run on certain nights between Monday and Thursday from 6 to 9 pm. The bulk of rehearsals will begin in January with select rehearsals in December.
Spirit Week is coming! Spirit Week is coming! Our Week of Respect Spirit Week will be next week, October 2-6. Each day will have a theme to show that we are united to #StompOutBullying!
Pilla Parents and Students - Pilla Middle School is searching for students who would like to be our mascot at various Pilla events. If your student is full of school spirit, please encourage them to stop down to the office to sign up for tryouts! The deadline to sign up is this Friday, September 29th.

If you or your child filled out the Activity Sign Up Form, the advisor should be reaching out shortly via email with the permission/bus form which must be filled out before your student can stay. However be advised that not all activities start right away. conducted a security drill in the manner that we
conduct all emergency drills, with seriousness and
with sensitivity to our students and staff. Everyone

Students in Ms. Super’s 6th and 7th grade language arts classes researched and reflected on September 11, 2001. They wrote acrostic poems to show off their knowledge, empathy and patriotism. #PillaProud

Pilla Parents - Please remember that if you are picking your student up early, you must pick them up by 2:15pm. Regular student dismissal begins at 2:45pm. Also, in order for an early pick up to be excused, the office must receive a doctor's note. Please contact the main office with any questions.

Students in Miss Welden's ELA classes started off the school year by working in peer groups to complete "Myself In Action" posters. The premise of the project was for students to review the writing process while sharing statements about themselves only using verbs that began with corresponding letters of their names. Students created a rough draft, submitted it for peer editing, made revisions, then published and presented their final copy.

Pilla parents - To celebrate the NFL regular season kickoff tonight, students will be allowed to support their favorite football team by wearing a football shirt or a jersey WITH UNIFORM BOTTOMS. Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?!?
