Miss Welden’s ELA classes enjoyed an incentive day filled with board games and fun as a reward for completing their Summer Reading projects before the deadline. Students played classics like Chess, Jenga and Sorry! In addition to the incentive day, students had their names entered into a drawing to win a pair of air pods. #pillaproud 💙💛

Eighth grade students in Mrs. Russo and Ms. Dean's science classes along with Mrs. Russo's period 6 science class created and presented a project on plate tectonics. Students selected a site to research. Some examples of sites included the San Andreas Fault, Yellowstone National Park, Hawaii and the Horn of Africa. Students created a google slideshow of their plate tectonic research along with pictures of the site and diagrams.

Today students in Miss Armanini's class focused on the Communication portion of the Portrait of a Graduate. Students listened to the read aloud, “A Little Spot of Feelings.” Students were able to recognize their emotions and inner feelings. Students then chose a feeling spot that resonates with them. They created their spot and wrote about it too!
