A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out this past Saturday for Sgt. Dominick Pilla Middle School’s 4th Annual Racing for Dwarfism Awareness Car Show! 💚
☀️ We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and the turnout was amazing! From the incredible cars and motorcycles to the wonderful people who came out to support our cause, the day was a huge success!
💚 Thank you to all of our car owners, vendors, families, volunteers, and community members who helped make this event so special. Your support helps us continue raising awareness, building inclusion, and making a difference for our students and community.

Last week in Ms. Claire’s class, students explored apples and learned about the life cycle of an apple tree! They learned about the different parts of an apple, what a seed needs to grow, and made fold-outs showing the stages of an apple tree’s life cycle. 🌱🍏 Students also used their senses to explore the different textures, colors, and smells of a variety of apples. To finish off, students made their own apple “donuts”—a fun and delicious way to end our lesson! 😋🍎🍩
