Our annual Academic Showcase is Wednesday night, after our spring break, on April 30th from 6-7:30pm. It is a FREE event including a light dinner and dessert. Every family attending will get a free item and students will be in a drawing for door prizes, students will also receive a free dress down day for a future date. This night is being sponsored by the Vineland Education Association. We hope to see you there to enjoy viewing our students' work and their creations they made this year!

Pilla Middle School was proud to honor Nathaniel Garcia as our Giraffe Hero this year! Twelve Vineland Public Schools elementary and middle school students were honored on April 3 as "Giraffe Heroes" for "having big hearts, sticking their necks out to help others, and being persistent in pursuing their goals."
The 21st annual ceremony was held yesterday at the Landis Administrative Offices. Parents and other family members of the "Giraffe Heroes," along with staff members from each of the schools, attended.

Students at Pilla Middle School will be celebrating Autism Awareness during the week of March 31 - April 4th with a Spirit Week. If jeans are worn, no rips or tears in fabric. No pajamas. Please see the flyer for each day's theme.
Students in Mr. Marino's 7th grade accelerated Social Studies classes created board games based on the steps of how a bill becomes a law. Games like Chutes and Ladders, Candyland, Monopoly, and Jumanji were influences. Students took turns playing their classmates' games after they were finished creating them.
Do you want to learn more about vaping prevention? Join us on March 26th at 5 pm (before conferences) in our multipurpose room, presented by the Vineland Health Department. Parents - your child will receive a free dress down for your attendance AND our gym will be available for open play during the presentation!
