In honor of Mrs. Harold’s son, a fallen hero who lost his life while serving our country, the students in Mr. Kavanagh's class wrote 'Thank You' letters to his Cavalry Company, which is currently deployed.
Students also learned about the deep symbolism of the poppy flower and created these beautiful posters to show their respect. It’s a heartfelt lesson in gratitude, history, and remembrance, all while supporting a cherished member of our own community, Mrs. Harold, and her son's brothers-and-sisters-in-arms.
We are so proud of these students for their empathy and thoughtfulness.

We are hosting a Toy Drive in partnership with "People Not Profit NJ" to help children in our community who are less fortunate.
We are accepting new, unwrapped toys for all ages from now until November 28th.
You can drop off your donations at any of the following locations:
C209
C204
The Cafe
The Office
Let's fill those boxes and make a difference!

✨ Spotlight on Ms. Super’s Period 8/9 Class! ✨
After completing testing, students took their narrative writing skills to the next level by crafting original suspenseful stories! 📖💡
They planned their plots with story charts, incorporated dialogue, figurative language, and rich vocabulary, and then set the scene perfectly—sharing their stories on October 31st in a dimly lit classroom to match the mysterious mood. 🕯️👻
Students even used rubrics to evaluate their peers’ writing and support one another on the path to excellence. What a creative and collaborative way to bring learning to life! 🌟

The Pilla Safety Patrol is partnering with "People, Not Profit NJ" to help bring joy to the community through a Toy Drive. 🧸🪀To help, please bring in a new and unwrapped toy to help children less fortunate this holiday season.
