Today, we joined staff and students across our district in celebrating a very special milestone—the 250th birthday of the United States of America. For two and a half centuries, our country has been shaped by the courage, determination, and contributions of countless individuals who have worked to build a stronger future for all.
As part of the celebration, Ms. Super's students enjoyed hotdogs and patriotic cookies while listening to patriotic music, reading nonfiction text about the birth of our country, and working together to come up with words connected to America using their articles. ❤️🤍💙

Mr. Brandon from NJ4S has been meeting with our 7th-grade boys for about two months now. They meet every week to work on healthy habits, making good choices, mental health and well-being, and social skills. Today, the boys were treated to a yummy lunch from Chick-fil-A! A few boys couldn’t make it, but they still had a great time in the group, even if they missed lunch!

🎉 Pilla Middle School is celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary! Students, wear red, white, or blue on Monday, June 15 and don’t forget your commemorative pin! 🇺🇸

Congratulations to the 79 6th, 7th, and 8th graders who achieved Principal's List for the first 3 marking periods for 2025-2026!! They were honored this morning at our Pastries with the Principals event, where they had breakfast and received their medal and certificate,. We are Pilla Proud of all of you!

This is a reminder that Field Day is tomorrow, and as many of you may know it is expected to be very hot. Please be sure to apply sunscreen to students before coming to school and bring extra sunscreen with you if needed throughout the day. We also encourage everyone to bring a clear plastic water bottle to stay hydrated. We will not have any water activities, so please do not wear or send bathing suits.
We are allowing a free dress down day tomorrow. Please remember that all Field Day attire must follow the school rules. We are aware it will be hot, but shorts must be an appropriate length and may not have rips or tears. Bathings suits, tank tops, crop tops, shirts tied in the back that expose skin, and slides are not permitted.
Students who are not dressed appropriately may not be allowed to participate in Field Day activities.
Thank you for your cooperation, and we look forward to a fun and safe Field Day!

🌊 8th Grade Takes On Big Kahuna's! ☀️
What a perfect way to celebrate the end of the year! Our 8th graders made a huge splash at Big Kahuna’s Water Park for their class trip, and a fantastic time was truly had by all.
From catching waves on the FlowRider and shooting hoops in the pool, to drifting down the lazy river and soaking up the sun poolside, the day was packed with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
A massive shoutout to our incredible students—not only did they have an absolute blast, but they were also incredibly well-behaved, representing our school beautifully all day long. Mother Nature definitely smiled on us too, serving up the most perfect, beautiful sunny weather we could have asked for.
