You know how we are ALWAYS reminding you to get to school on time? Well, we decided to make it a LITTLE more interesting!
I know some of you are probably thinking, “Ms. Rosado is soooo mean!”
And “Mrs. Enders does WAY too much!” 😂
Well, Wildcats… THIS TIME, you’re going to LOVE that I do! 😎
I saw this idea on social media, and we’re bringing it to Wallace Middle School!
🥁 INTRODUCING THE NOVEMBER PERFECT ATTENDANCE PIE COMPETITION! 🥧
Here’s how it works:
📅 The Competition: November 2–30
🏆 The Teams: 6th Grade vs. 7th Grade vs. 8th Grade
💯 The Goal: PERFECT ATTENDANCE!
There are only 15 days of school in this competition, so this should be EASY, right?! 👀
Here’s the deal: EVERY DAY your grade has PERFECT ATTENDANCE, you earn a PIE! 🥧
The grade that earns the MOST pies wins a special assembly where you get to see your administrators, YES, MRS. ENDERS AND MS. ROSADO, GET PIED IN THE FACE! 🤣🥧
And the best part? The winning grade’s names will be entered into a randomizer, and the lucky students selected will get the HONOR of pieing us!
🥧 5 days of perfect attendance = 5 lucky students get to pie us!
🥧 15 days of perfect attendance = 15 lucky students get to pie us!
And if we have a TIE? No problem! Both winning grades get to participate! 🎉
So, Wildcats, it’s time to show up, show out, and SHOW UP ON TIME! Help your grade earn those pies because the more days you ALL are here, the bigger the chance you’ll get to see us wearing whipped cream instead of our usual smiles! 😂

Así es como funciona:
📅 La Competencia: Del 2 al 30 de noviembre
🏆 Los Equipos: 6.º grado vs. 7.º grado vs. 8.º grado
💯 La Meta: ¡ASISTENCIA PERFECTA!
¡Solo hay 15 días de clases durante esta competencia, así que debería ser FÁCIL, ¿verdad?! 👀
Aquí está la regla: ¡CADA DÍA que su grado tenga ASISTENCIA PERFECTA, GANARÁN UN PASTEL! 🥧
¡El grado que consiga MÁS pasteles ganará una asamblea especial en la que podrán ver a sus administradoras, ¡SÍ, A LA SRA. ENDERS Y A LA SRA. ROSADO, RECIBIR UN PASTELAZO EN LA CARA! 🤣🥧
¿Y saben qué es lo mejor? ¡Los nombres de los estudiantes del grado ganador se ingresarán en un sorteo al azar, y los estudiantes seleccionados tendrán el HONOR de lanzarnos un pastelazo!
🥧 ¡5 días de asistencia perfecta = 5 estudiantes afortunados tendrán la oportunidad de lanzarnos un pastelazo!

You have created something very special here at Wallace. You have helped make our school feel like more than just a place where we work and learn—you have created a sense of family. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. No application is required for students to receive free school meals. Families are still encouraged to complete the annual meal application because the information is used to determine eligibility for Summer EBT benefits.

📢 Parents/Guardians: Important Back-to-School Immunization Information
The City of Vineland Health Department is offering Back-to-School Childhood Vaccination Clinics for children who are uninsured or enrolled in Medicaid Plan A.
If your child is entering 6th grade, they may be due for the required 11-year-old immunizations: Tdap and Meningococcal.
Please schedule an appointment as soon as possible so your child can receive these required immunizations before the start of the school year.

Dear Wallace Familia,
We hope you are enjoying the final weeks of summer! As we prepare to welcome everyone back for another exciting school year, we would like to share an important reminder.
For the 2026–2027 school year, all Wallace students will need to bring a book bag to school each day. A clear book bag is strongly recommended.
Students should only carry the following items with them throughout the school day:
Chromebook
Chromebook charger
Writing utensils
Required notebooks and folders for their classes
Cell Phone Reminder:
Cell phones must remain powered off and secured in each student's assigned, locked locker throughout the school day.
Physical Education:
A change of clothes for Physical Education is optional, not required. Students who choose to change should bring a separate drawstring bag for their PE clothing.
Please continue to check your email regularly throughout the remainder of the summer for important announcements, reminders, and school updates.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back and are looking forward to an amazing 2026–2027 school year together!

Estimadas familias de Wallace:
¡Esperamos que estén disfrutando de las últimas semanas del verano! Mientras nos preparamos para darles la bienvenida a todos a un nuevo y emocionante año escolar, queremos compartir un importante recordatorio.
Para el año escolar 2026–2027, todos los estudiantes de Wallace deberán traer una mochila a la escuela todos los días. Se recomienda encarecidamente el uso de una mochila transparente.
Los estudiantes solo deben llevar consigo los siguientes artículos durante el día escolar:
Chromebook
Cargador del Chromebook
Útiles de escritura (lápices, bolígrafos, etc.)
Cuadernos y carpetas requeridos para sus clases
Recordatorio sobre los teléfonos celulares:
Los teléfonos celulares deben permanecer apagados y guardados en el casillero asignado y con llave del estudiante durante toda la jornada escolar.
Educación Física:
El cambio de ropa para la clase de Educación Física es opcional, no obligatorio. Los estudiantes que decidan cambiarse de ropa deberán traer una bolsa tipo saco (drawstring bag) separada para guardar su ropa de Educación Física.
Les pedimos que continúen revisando su correo electrónico con regularidad durante el resto del verano para mantenerse informados sobre anuncios importantes, recordatorios y actualizaciones de la escuela.
