Thank you for being the kind of principal who truly puts our students first. Your dedication to their safety, success, and well-being is evident every single day. You give so much of yourself to our school, often going above and beyond what is expected, because you genuinely care about our students and our school community.
You have created something very special here at Wallace. You have helped make our school feel like more than just a place where we work and learn—you have created a sense of family. You remind us that every student deserves to feel safe, supported, respected, and loved, and you lead by example in making that happen.
Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. We see the long days, the difficult decisions, the countless responsibilities, and all the little things you do behind the scenes to make sure our school continues to move forward. Even on the most challenging days, you continue to show up, lead with strength and compassion, and put the needs of our students and staff at the forefront.

The City of Vineland Health Department is offering Back-to-School Childhood Vaccination Clinics for children who are uninsured or enrolled in Medicaid Plan A.
If your child is entering 6th grade, they may be due for the required 11-year-old immunizations: Tdap and Meningococcal.
Please schedule an appointment as soon as possible so your child can receive these required immunizations before the start of the school year.

Dear Wallace Familia,
We hope you are enjoying the final weeks of summer! As we prepare to welcome everyone back for another exciting school year, we would like to share an important reminder.
For the 2026–2027 school year, all Wallace students will need to bring a book bag to school each day. A clear book bag is strongly recommended.
Students should only carry the following items with them throughout the school day:
Chromebook
Chromebook charger
Writing utensils
Required notebooks and folders for their classes
Cell Phone Reminder:
Cell phones must remain powered off and secured in each student's assigned, locked locker throughout the school day.
Physical Education:
A change of clothes for Physical Education is optional, not required. Students who choose to change should bring a separate drawstring bag for their PE clothing.
Please continue to check your email regularly throughout the remainder of the summer for important announcements, reminders, and school updates.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back and are looking forward to an amazing 2026–2027 school year together!

¡Esperamos que estén disfrutando de las últimas semanas del verano! Mientras nos preparamos para darles la bienvenida a todos a un nuevo y emocionante año escolar, queremos compartir un importante recordatorio.
Para el año escolar 2026–2027, todos los estudiantes de Wallace deberán traer una mochila a la escuela todos los días. Se recomienda encarecidamente el uso de una mochila transparente.
Los estudiantes solo deben llevar consigo los siguientes artículos durante el día escolar:

Cuadernos y carpetas requeridos para sus clases
Recordatorio sobre los teléfonos celulares:
Los teléfonos celulares deben permanecer apagados y guardados en el casillero asignado y con llave del estudiante durante toda la jornada escolar.
Educación Física:
El cambio de ropa para la clase de Educación Física es opcional, no obligatorio. Los estudiantes que decidan cambiarse de ropa deberán traer una bolsa tipo saco (drawstring bag) separada para guardar su ropa de Educación Física.
Les pedimos que continúen revisando su correo electrónico con regularidad durante el resto del verano para mantenerse informados sobre anuncios importantes, recordatorios y actualizaciones de la escuela.

We can't wait to welcome our incoming 6th graders and all new Wallace Middle School students and their families to our 6th Grade & New Student Orientation!

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Join us as you begin your Wallace journey! During orientation, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Meet our amazing staff, including our Principal and two Assistant Principals
- Take a guided tour of Wallace Middle School
- Practice opening your locker lock before the first day of school
- Enjoy giveaways
- Connect with community organizations and resources
- Participate in fun, family-friendly games and activities
This is the perfect opportunity to get comfortable, ask questions, and see what makes Wallace such a special place.

Based on feedback from our students, staff, and families, we learned that the drawstring bags previously used for Chromebooks did not adequately meet our students' needs. Therefore, all Wallace students will be required to use a clear book bag during the 2026–2027 school year.

Please note: Cell phones must remain powered off and secured in students' assigned, locked lockers during the school day.
In addition to their clear book bag, students should also bring a separate drawstring bag for their Physical Education clothing.

Basándonos en los comentarios de nuestros estudiantes, el personal y las familias, nos dimos cuenta de que las bolsas de cordón que se utilizaban para transportar las computadoras Chromebook no satisfacían las necesidades de nuestros estudiantes.
