If your child took medication daily or on an as-needed basis in the nurse’s office during the school year, please arrange to pick up any remaining medication by the last day of school, June 25, 2026.
According to New Jersey Law and Vineland District policy, no medications are allowed to remain in the nurse's office over the summer. All medicine that is left after June will be disposed of without exception.
Middle/High School- A parent or guardian must pick up all medications except asthma inhalers, Epipens, and Diabetic medications that a primary care provider has approved for self-carry or self-administration.
Our district requires that every parent complete and submit a new Medication Consent form for each school year. Please visit our district website at https://www.vineland.org/o/vps/page/health-services.
Medication Consent form requirements:
The Medication Consent Form must be completed and signed by the parent and student’s primary care provider.
The Medication Consent Form must be presented to the school nurse on the first day of school, September 3, 2026.
All prescribed medication must be in the original bottle with the pharmacy label.
Over the Counter medications also require a physician’s order and must be in original packaging.
Please note:
Over-the-counter medications also require a physician’s order and must be in the original packaging.
Students with asthma must submit an updated Asthma Action Plan.
Students with seizure disorders must submit an updated Seizure Action Plan.
Students with life-threatening allergies must submit an updated Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Emergency Care Plan (FARE form).

[ ] Charged the battery up.
[ ] Wiped it down so it is clean and free of stickers.
[ ] Put the intact case on the device.
[ ] Brought your charger to return with it.
⚠️ Note: Lost chargers, lost devices, or unreturned items may result in a replacement fee. Outstanding balances must be cleared to receive a Chromebook for the 2026–2027 school year!

Are you interested in playing a fall sport next school year?

✏️ Middle School - Try-outs and practices start the second week of September.
✏️ 9th Grade - Try-outs and practices begin the second week of August. (*Football and Cheer start earlier-contact VHS Athletics for their start dates)
🩺 A Sports Physical is required and may be completed by your doctor or at one of the CompleteCare Mobile Medical Unit dates listed on the attached flyer. See Nurse Saige for the Sports Physical Packets.
📢 If you have completed a Sports Physical Packet previously this school year see Nurse Saige for a ReCert Sports Packet.
❗️Sports Physical Packets will be accepted from June 1 through August 28. All completed Sports Physical Packets must be approved by the VPS District doctor before students may begin practice. Please note, this approval process takes approximately two weeks. To avoid delays, please complete and submit your physical paperwork as soon as possible.
‼️ Please bring completed packets to Nurse Saige from June 1st - 25th . During the summer months (July–August), completed packets should be turned in to the School Nurses at VHS South Building.

The energy stayed high all day long as students faced off in epic nerf wars, set up some great plays on the volleyball court, and showed off their skills on the basketball court! 🏀🏐🎯

As part of the celebration, Ms. Super's students enjoyed hotdogs and patriotic cookies while listening to patriotic music, reading nonfiction text about the birth of our country, and working together to come up with words connected to America using their articles. ❤️🤍💙

From epic volleyball matches and competitive obstacle courses to giant slides, axe throwing, and sweet treats like water ice, the energy was unmatched! Plus, the fun continued inside with some highly competitive candy bingo. 🍧🍬🏆

Project Citizen is a hands-on, project-based program that empowers students to research community issues and influence local policy. We are Pilla Proud of all their hard work!







We are allowing a free dress down day tomorrow. Please remember that all Field Day attire must follow the school rules. We are aware it will be hot, but shorts must be an appropriate length and may not have rips or tears. Bathings suits, tank tops, crop tops, shirts tied in the back that expose skin, and slides are not permitted.
Students who are not dressed appropriately may not be allowed to participate in Field Day activities.
