We’re excited to highlight Jaycion, was named Mennies' future chef! 🎉 Jaycion went head-to-head against talented chefs from other elementary schools, and his spicy chili was an absolute hit! 🌶️🔥
The judges raved about the kick of spice and the incredible presentation. It’s clear that Jaycion has a real talent for cooking, and we couldn’t be more proud!

🌟 Congrats to Our Giraffe Hero: Anthony Kalotia! 🌟
We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on Anthony, our incredible giraffe hero! 🦒✨ He truly sticks his neck out for others, always going above and beyond in everything he does.
When tasked with helping our school, he puts forth 110%! Whether assisting staff or lending a helping hand to younger students, Anthony is always there to support those in need.
We are so proud of him and grateful to have such a dedicated student among us. Thank you, Anthony!

Congratulations to our Staff Member of the Month, Ms. Kreck! 🎉📚
Ms. Kreck has transformed the Mennies library into a vibrant, engaging space where students learn, explore, and grow. The library is now a hub for reading, STEM projects, and hands-on learning. When you step inside, you’ll find students:
📖 Enjoying books in flexible seating
🤖 Working with robots and new technology
🔬 Collaborating on STEM challenges
Beyond the library, Ms. Kreck plays a huge role in our school community. She organized an incredible Read Across America Week, making sure students had a special celebration and gift each day. She also serves as a morning tutor and Safety Club advisor, WMEN advisor and always goes the extra mile for our students.
You can find Ms. Kreck involved in everything at Mennies, and we are so grateful for the connections she makes with students and the support she provides to her colleagues. Thank you, Ms. Kreck, for all that you do! 💙👏

As a Safety Patrol Officer, Anthony leads with kindness, responsibility, and dedication every day. Whether he’s guiding younger students, lending a helping hand, or balancing his academics with his leadership role, he always goes above and beyond.
