Assistant Principals are the backbone of any school community, and Rossi is no different. Last week was #APWeek and we are incredibly lucky to have the very best: Mrs. Lauren Coia! We are grateful for your positivity, grace, and above all your commitment to our students and staff. We are one big family at Rossi and that’s due in no small part to Mrs. Coia. Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Coia, we are so thankful for all you do! #RossiPosse 🌟🦉💛

April 4th was #NationalSchoolLibrariansDay ! Let’s give a huge Rossi shout out to our very own librarian, Mrs. Pangburn, known to all of our students as Mrs. P! Always willing to lend a helping hand, Mrs. P helps all of our students shine and feel valued. We are lucky to have her in our #RossiPosse. Thank you for all you do, Mrs. P! 🦉📚🌟

The service project for March at Rossi Elementary was in support of Type 1 Diabetes research and finding a cure. A service project that is near and dear to the hearts of many Rossi students and staff. During the month Rossi students learned facts about the life of someone who lives with t
ype 1 diabetes. They learned about diabetes through facts shared during the morning announcements and listening to read-alouds about this disease. All month long the students, staff, and families of Rossi donated spare change and raised money with a service project dress down day. The Rossi Owls did such an amazing job of showing their support, they raised a total of $1080. All proceeds are being donated to the Junior Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) to aid in their research to find a cure and help those who are diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Way to go Rossi Owls!!!
