Yahira Cuevas was crowned Miss Monogram 2021 in front of the enthusiastic crowd that came out Friday evening to watch the Vineland High School football team take on the Williamstown Braves. Despite a hard-fought game by the Fighting Clan, they lost to the Braves 28-6.
Halftime began with another impressive performance by the VHS Marching Clan. Following their halftime show, the five Miss Monogram finalists were announced and escorted to the field.
Winner was Cuevas, escorted by Matt Neri. Her court included first runner-up Karleigh Herman, escorted by Giavanna Barile; second runner-up Leilani Colenari, escorted by Jahmer Bryson; third runner-up Nicole Stanker, escorted by Rohit Dutta; and fourth runner-up Christina Rodriguez, escorted by Alex Rodriguez. The contestants received their sashes, flowers, and trophies from members of district central administration, Board of Education members, and VHS administrators. Advisors for the Class of 2022 are Jennifer Lapsley and Miriam Capanna.
