Students flock to annual VHS Club Night

Hundreds of Vineland High School students and their parents packed the south campus gymnasium on Thursday to receive information and ask questions about the dozens of clubs and activities at the high school.

"Club Night" is an annual event, held after students have settled in for the new school year.

Information tables lined the perimeter of the gym so students and their parents could move easily from one spot to the next. The list of activities included, among others, the Academic Team, African American Cultural Club, Art Club, Cap ‘n’ Dagger Club, History Club and Historical Committee, Skills USA, Student Government Association, and more. Class officers also manned tables for their respective classes and students were able to receive information and sign up for winter sports. Class rings were also on sale. The VHS cheerleaders and Rowdy Rooster welcomed families and entertained the crowd throughout the event.

VHS encourages all students to participate in extracurricular activities, with the goal of gaining valuable leadership training and development. Students can also use many of the club’s activities toward their Service Learning hours.
