Jinelys Alvarez was crowned Miss Monogram 2020 in front of the small but enthusiastic crowd that came out last night to watch the Vineland High School football team defeat Mainland Regional High School 14-13.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the traditional parade down Landis Avenue did not precede the halftime events, and also limited the number of fans in the usually-packed stands. The five contestants still made their grand entrance via convertibles onto the track pre-game along with their escorts. Halftime began with a rousing performance by the VHS Marching Clan and cheerleaders. Following their routine, the five Miss Monogram finalists were announced and escorted to the field.
Miss Monogram’s court included first runner-up, Stefaniya Zozulya; second runner-up, Victoria Vasquez; third runner-up, Brooke Dickenson; and fourth runner-up, Bailey Dickenson.
