Information regarding 2021 graduation

Attention VHS Parents and Students:

The 143rd Commencement of Vineland High School will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Gittone Stadium.  Procession of graduates will begin promptly at 5:00 pm.  In order to host a safe and memorable graduation ceremony, Vineland Public Schools administration and VHS administration worked collaboratively with the City of Vineland, the Health Department, local first responders, local law enforcement, and Cumberland County education officials to plan the upcoming Class of 2021 graduation.

Due to COVID 19 and social distancing requirements set forth by Executive Order 204, this year each graduate will be able to receive two (2) graduation tickets.  Due to the current regulations and in fairness to all students, VHS will not be able to accommodate any additional ticket requests.  In addition to the in-person ceremony, the VPS Communications Department will be live streaming the VHS Graduation ceremony on YouTube for family and friends at home to view. On graduation day, please click on the following link: The VHS Commencement Ceremony will be the top broadcast on the channel and if you subscribe to the channel you will get an email notification when it goes live.

While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact daily school operations, Vineland Public Schools recognizes the importance of celebrating the accomplishments of our students.  Please understand that VPS will continue to monitor the public health crisis with our local health department.  In the event we are unable to hold an in-person ceremony, the district will conduct a “drive-through” event to acknowledge Vineland High School seniors and their achievements.

“I would like to thank our students and families for their patience and support during the COVID 19 hybrid schedule,” said principal Suzette DeMarchi. “Our VHS school community has shown such resiliency during this period that it can only be described as “VHS Strong!” As we continue to navigate these final days, please feel free to contact me if I may be of assistance. We are in this together.”
