The first Vineland High School was opened in 1870. Throughout the ages, VHS has been rich in tradition, pride and enthusiasm. As a leader in academic, athletic and artistic excellence, VHS has demonstrated why it is one of New Jersey's finest high schools. The Vineland High School campus consists of two schools, Vineland High School North (Grades 9-10) and Vineland High School South (Grades 11-12). The combined enrollment is approximately 3500 students. VHS South was built in 1963 and VHS North was built in 1976.
