The Vineland architectural firm of Manders/Merighi is currently designing
a new middle school that will serve its community. The firm
has already designed many buildings in this community, along with recent
renovations at various schools in Vineland, including the J.C. Milanese
School, Landis Middle School, Veterans Memorial School, and the north and
south campuses.
The firm’s design is for a two-story building, which includes the
school district’s central kitchen; the school is designed for a capacity
of 562 students. Construction is expected to begin in early 2005. The
preliminary budget for the new school, which will be completed by the
beginning of the 2006-2007 school year, is $28 million. |
