| Principal's List for First Marking Period Announced Vineland Public Schools released the names students in grades 3 through twelve who earned Principal's List honors for the 1st marking period of the 2009-2010 school year. To achieve this distinction, high school students must have a grade point average of 3.75 or above. In elementary and middle schools, students must have all A's. Read more |

VHS Marching Clan fares well in final test The Vineland High School Marching Clan was ranked fourth overall in both music and percussion and missed the top 10 by only a fraction of a point in Sunday’s US Scholastic Band Association (USSBA) New Jersey State Group II Championship competition. Allen brothers thanked for continuing support of Project Graduation With the help from Allen Associates, as well as many other school, district, and community groups, the $50,000 plus necessary to hold the event was successfully raised. For the past three years, the event has been threatened by state funding cuts. Read more

| Vineland Education Association gains approvel for $60,000 in grants The VEA received official notification in late October for the receipt of $60,000 for the Pride and Families and Schools Work Together FAST grants from the NEA. Thirty-five separate events from 11 schools will be funded for varying amounts. Read more |
VHS language student tours Russia Anastasiya Novatorskaya, a Vineland High School junior, was one of only 15 students from across the nation selected to participate in a three-week visit to Russia for classes and tours this summer sponsored by the American Council of Teachers of Russian. Read more
