Vineland Public Schools Fundraising Events The Vineland High School Field Hockey team will be hosting a car wash fundraiser on Aug. 23 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Middle School on the corner of Main Road and Chestnut Avenue. Cost is $5. for cars and $7 for trucks and SUV's. Read more

Parents of students new to Vineland Public Schools urged to register soon Parents of students new to Vineland Public Schools in September are urged to make an appointment to register their child as soon as possible to avoid delays that could prevent the child from starting school on the first day of classes. For new high school students, delays could also limit choices of the district’s new Small Learning Communities initiative as individual communities fill up. Read more |
| District offering promotional signs at football stadium Vineland Public Schools is again offering a three-year rental of space for advertising signs at Gittone Stadium. The cost for each sign is $750 for the three-year agreement which begins in September 2008 and ends at the conclusion of the 2010 Vineland High School football season. Read more |

2 new assistant principals will greet elementary students in the fallStudents at D’Ippolito and Mennies Elementary School will be greeted by new assistant principals when district classes resume on Sept. 4. The Vineland Board of Education, voting at its July 9, 2008, meeting unanimously approved Melissa Painter in that position at D’Ippolito School and Kristen Estep at Mennies School. Read more |
| CCC-Vineland Public Schools partnership rescues LPN program The Vineland Board of Education on Wednesday unanimously approved a resolution creating a partnership with Cumberland County College that will enable the school’s Licensed Practical Nurse program to continue operating in collaboration with CCC. The Vineland School District offered the LPN program for 43 years, but a tight budget put the program in jeopardy. Read more |
