STUDENT OF THE MONTH AWARDS
2008-2009
For
each month of the school year one student in the classroom
will be chosen to be the "Student of the Month." Each student who
receives this special honor will have been chosen by me by the
following criteria:
-Does
he/she consistently show effort
-Do they have initiative and integrity
-Do they care for themselves and their classmates
-Are they learning perseverance
-Are they taking responsibility
for their actions
-They must share well with
others
-Respectful
to all teachers, aides and substitutes
-They must not bully
-They must have a positive attitude
- When no one is looking, do they still do the right
thing (trust)
-They should show a spirit of improvement
and excellence in
everything that he or she does.
Obviously, not all of the deserving students in my classroom will
be able to win this award during the school year. There are
simply not enough months in the year for everyone to win.
Some will win and some will not.

Congratulations goes out to Lillian for becoming this years

the Month from our class. Lillian
is a
well respected student by her teachers,
as well as a
respected friend to her classmates.

Lillian is the Student of The Month because she is
nice to other people.
She has good feelings about people. She will also help people if they need
it.

I think Lillian should be Student of the Month because
she is always
smiling, she has good grades and never does anything wrong.
She never talks back to the teacher. Lillian is always nice. I wanted her

is an extremely
marvelous student. She gets along with everyone in the class. Also she gets

always completes her work and she behaves very well. She doesn’t play
with things in her desk. Lillian hardly ever gets her card turned. Lillian

is smart and very
nice. She never screams at people and she always listens to Mr. Hughes.
I know Mr. Hughes picked the right person. Mariya
I think Lillian is Student of The Month because she is very
nice and she
is smart. She is in LEAP but she does talk sometimes. I think she is a good

Lillian deserves to be Student of The Month because she
is very caring and
that can really help people. For example, if someone falls, she would comfort
them
when the nurse puts medicine on their cuts.
We’ve been friends since kindergarten and she has helped me through
the

Lillian is Student of The Month because she is doing good in school.

I think Lillian is Student of The Month because she is a
very nice girl. She
is smart and full of life. Also she is good at getting me into trouble. Most
of

I think Lillian is the Student of The Month because she never gets sent to
the office. She always gets A pluses. That is why she’s Student of The

Why I think Celina should be Student of the Month by being
nice, polite
to everyone and she is sweat and kind. She also became Student of the Month
by being ambitious and nice to everyone as she brought in cupcakes for everyone

I think Celina was chosen as Student of the Month because she is a very
nice girl. She is trustworthy too. You can tell her a secret and she won’t
tell anyone.

Celina is the new Student of the Month because she is trustworthy,
determined, helpful and intelligent. When Celina is helping someone, she takes
her time.
She does not rush the person she is working with. Celina has a lot of patience.
Celina is trustworthy. If you tell her a secret, she will not tell anyone.
Celina does not start rumors. She knows that it is wrong.
If Celina comes across a problem and she does not know how to do it, she
tries until she gets it right. She does not give up. Celina is determined.
Celina is intelligent. She is smart. Celina always gets her work done.

Celina is very intelligent. She is trustworthy and she is
