Welcome
to Petway Elementary School in Vineland, New Jersey.
Petway Elementary School opened September 11, 2006.
As we begin our fourth year, our goal is to continue
the excellence already established at our school.
Petway Elementary School has four classrooms of
each grade from Kindergarten through grade 5 and
three self-contained Special Education classes.
.... Our
curriculum has a heavy emphasis on Literature-Based
Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social
Studies. At the same time, we include a focus on
Health and Physical Education, Art, Music, Library,
World Language and Computer Literacy. In addition
to our rigorous academic program, our staff is actively
involved in a “team approach” to encourage
excellent behavior, manners and character traits
in our “Petway Patriots”.
....We
are proud of the many programs offered to assist
our children such as: Elementary Guidance, Crisis
Team, Peer-Mediation, Intervention and Referral
Service, Child Study Team Services, and Speech Therapy.
....Petway
teachers and staff believe in “Children First”.
We acknowledge the individual differences in our
children and work hard to deliver the best educational
foundation for all our students.
