A
Message from the President
Dear Fellow Kappans,
First,
let me welcome you to our website. The executive board has finalized
a calendar of events, and w
e
look forward to seeing many of you at our meetings. Please refer
to our Newsletter for up to date information.
In March, Dr. Michael Sarnoff
and Dr. Katie Sarnoff of the Café of
Life, will speak to our membership on wellness and how to navigate
the road to living painfree. In April we will host our annual initiation
ceremony. Also in April, we hope to tour the new education facilities
at Rowan.
Phi Delta Kappa will celebrate its centennial anniversary this year.
What a great way to become involved, build fellowships, and exchange
ideas with your professional peers. With over 250 members in our local
(Zeta Nu) chapter, it is disheartening not to see members return after
initiation.
Realistically we all have busy schedules. However we also know an
organization can only survive by participation. We need you! We need
members to become involved in all facets of our organization. The executive
committee is currently in need of a historian, a secretary, and a foundations
chairperson.
I am not one to project doom and gloom, but our future depends on
membership participation and involvement. Please make an effort in
2006 to attend at least one meeting. With your help we can make improvements
and bring innovative and educational programs to our members. Our survival
depends on it.
Sincerely,
Joseph Camardo,
President, Zeta Nu Chapter 157
