The Vineland Public Schools will be closed on January 17 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Holiday.
Martin Luther King, Jr. Day is a national holiday marking the birthday of Dr. King. It is observed on the third Monday of January each year, around his birthday, January 15.
Honoring Dr. King’s legacy is essential so that we may reflect on the life and work of a great man.
As a public school district, we are committed to honoring Dr. King’s legacy by providing high-quality educational services to all students regardless of race, creed, or color. We strive to provide our students with an education that inspires, informs, and prepares them to build a community of committed and civically engaged servant leaders.
