AMSA, VHS students win several awards at Science Research Competition

Vineland Public Schools students had another strong showing at the annual Rowan College of South Jersey Cumberland Science Research Competition, held virtually on February 23. Students from AMSA at Johnstone and Vineland High School placed in the event. 

Categories ranged from Botany and Chemistry to Medicine and Health and Engineering. The students conducted the research at home and then presented their findings virtually. Students qualify for the upcoming Delaware Valley Science Fair in April. Overall competition awards went to: Moesharlynn Torto - 2nd place; Erin Krause - 1st place middle school division; Aaron Nonnenbacher - 2nd place middle school division; and Anoushka Yenigalli - 3rd place middle school division.
