Agostino Folk Tale Face Painting
Mennies School was fortunate enough to have Christopher Agostino come to our school. Mrs. Scharnagl, our art teacher, had seen him in action and knew what a wonderful performance he did for children. His performance combines storytelling and visual arts to present multicultural folktales and original stories which illustrate the inspirational role of animals in human art. Mr. Agostino has been performing for and facepainting children for thirty years and even wrote a book called "Transformations! The Story Behind the Painted Faces".
