Parents of entering 6th graders - don't forget to get your child scheduled for the whooping cough and meningitis vaccines. Students entering 6th grade who are 11 years old and NEW 7th & 8th students 11 years or older coming to Pilla Middle School are required by NJ State Health Department, to receive a Tdap and Meningococcal vaccine in order to enter school.
This means that 6th graders and the previous mentioned older students may not begin school on the first day if they cannot show proof of these... (cont'd)
Please read the attached document concerning the pick up of students during the school day. Emergency contacts may not pick students up unless they have a note that day stating that from the parent or guardian each time they come. Also, students must be picked up before 2:20 pm because the office and the car line get hectic with dismissal procedures.
