Bea Stern Hanuska - Basketball & Coaching; Coached Girls Basketball Team to
South Jersey Championship--only one to do so. Also Phys. Ed. teacher

Never wrestled but coached it. Member of State Championship
Football Team of 1939; could play any position.

John DiSanti - State championship wrestler 1959
*Clarion Cosh - Cross Country & Track Coach; Phys. Ed. teacher Won SJ Championship, Group IV Championship; set record with 55 consecutive wins. 1956 - Greatest track team in history of VHS. Coached Boys Basketball from 1945 - 1953.

1998

1939 State Championship Football Team: Frank Bianchi, Mike Gagliardi, John Trucano, Joe Viola, Bernie Hanula, Walt Malyk, Dick Harris, Joe Chielli, Camillo Piccone, Tony DiTomo, Jim Geraci, and coaches Nello Dallolio and Dan Testa (NOTE: The players who passed away were honored posthumously.)

1999

Scan Steinour - Tennis; holds VHS record for most wins (109 wins - 7 losses)
Sharon Starzan - Basketball, Tennis & Track - was 3 letter winner her freshman
year; NJ State Tennis Champion
*David Still - Basketball, Track and Field. Scored over 1,000 points in high school
career; member of 21-4 basketball team best record in VHS history

2000

Cheryl Tedford - Swimming, Field Hockey, Softball Broke state record in
individual breastroke; holds record in hockey for shut-out 54.5%
Charles Scarani - Football, Track. Member of State Championship Football team of 1930, selected All-State Center; Cumberland County Freeholder for 20 years
*Larry Aldrich - Football, Basketball and Track; played football professionally with
Steelers

2001

Krista Ferrara - Still holds records in Track and Cross Country; made & broke her own records
