The purpose of the IMPACT Health Center is to provide IMPACT program participants with easily accessible, high quality health services. These services include:

• Diagnosis & treatment of acute illnesses
• Management of on-site accident or injury
• Medication administration and monitoring (e.g. antibiotics, asthma medications)
• Vision, and hearing screenings
• Health Education
• Reproductive Health Education
• Update of delayed immunizations tracking
• Sick-child day care
• Mental health, including individual, family or group therapy

The IMPACT Health Center hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The staff of the IMPACT Health Center includes:

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (2)
• Clinical Nurse Educators
• Wellness/Family Counselor
• Health & Social Service Coordinator
• Administrative Program Assistant
• School Nurse
• Abbott Community Nurses

Our staff encourages all program participants and their families to visit an established personal care provider, e.g. family physician, pediatrician or nurse practitioner for most of their sick and well care needs. The staff will assist in locating a personal care provider in the area.
