Durand Run 2008
The 30th annual Durand Run was another huge success. This year's race was run
in memory of the 2006 female winner Lareesa Artis. Students in grades 2
through 5, who qualified during gym class, took part in the 3000 meter race on the
track and surrounding streets. We would like to thank Mr. Appleby (race
coordinator), the Vineland Police Dept., all of the teachers and staff who
assisted, and the recently elected Mayor Mr. Robert Romano for running.
