Description Students will learn the fundamentals of various games and most importantly the significance of sportsmanship Children will learn the basics of crocheting and will have the opportunity to complete several projects Club members will learn to play Math 24. Honing their skills in this game will also increase their basic fact ability. Members will compete in the district wide Math 24 contest in March. Students will develop their writing skills and publish their own work.
Children will become more familiar with the numerous uses of technology. They will create several different projects. Durand students will make several arts and crafts projects including several seasonal creations, such as Christmas cards. Students will begin the day with light exercise. A fit body leads to a fit mind.
Children will assist in the creation of the Durand Yearbook. In order to be more confident on the NJ ASK test in the spring, students will practice the necessary skills and test taking strategies.
Students will take part in numerous activities while learning valuable life lessons. Durand's students will practice for and participate in our annual Talent Show.
