Week of Respect

Each school year, Vineland Public Schools recognizes the Week of Respect during the first week in October (Monday, October 3rd - Friday October 7th).

The purpose of the Week of Respect is to teach students how to respect others, our school, our community, and ourselves, as well as how to prevent harassment, intimidation, and bullying situations.

D'Ippolito School will celebrate and promote respect, kindness, and a positive school culture in order to create a safe and supportive learning environment. This week is but one of the many weeks throughout the year we foster and promote an environment of respect for all students in order to create a positive school climate for growth and learning.

Please encourage your child to participate with our week's theme days:

  • Monday, October 3rd: Wear Blue for World Bullying Prevention Day. #BlueUp against Bullying!

  • Tuesday, October 4th: Wear Red for Kindness.  Being kind is a way we Respect each other.

  • Wednesday, October 5th: Dress up as a teacher who inspires you. We show respect to our teachers every day and today is World Teacher Day!

  • Thursday, October 6th: Wear colors that represent your heritage to celebrate our diversity. We respect everyone despite our differences.
