Gang Awareness Presentation at Wallace School

A gang awareness program with emphasis on the dangers of a popular Internet social networking site will be offered at Wallace Middle School on May 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., said Ken Corson, the school’s Health and Social Services Coordinator.

The school is located at 688 N. Mill Rd. and the programs, presented by detectives from the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office, are free and open to the public.

The presentations will highlight gang activities in our area and a MySpace Awareness Program to educate parents to the dangers of this website.  Both workshops will be held simultaneously.

While parents are attending the workshops, students will have an opportunity to participate in sports activities in the gymnasium supervised by school staff.
