20 from Durand School to Join Domestic Violence Awareness Run on May 11

A group of about 20 staff members from Durand School will be participating in a “Race to Raise Awareness of Domestic Violence” slated at Cumberland County College on May 11, 2008, Mother’s Day.

The event begins at 9 a.m.

The group will be walking/running to honor the memory of slain fourth grade teacher, Sharon Parsons-Bortle. Anyone wishing to join the team or make a donation in memory of Sharon should contact Val Gallina vgallinia@vineland.org or Dale Horner dhorner@vineland.org at Durand School.
