The event began with a light dinner followed by Pallota's presentation. Attendees received a "Proud of Our Public Schools" book magnet as a gift.
Children's author Jerry Pallotta presented a program titled, "Read a Zillion Books" to the Petway Patriots and their families. Pallotta has written more than 20 nonfiction nature books.
"My goal has always been to write interesting, fact-filled, fun to read, beautifully illustrated color children's books," says Pallotta, a Boston native.
