Durand Elementary School’s Jami Gustason, left, a third grade student, and Desiree Loatman, a grade 5 student, both created art work that was put on display at the state capitol in Trenton in honor of Youth Art Month. Both students, and their teacher, Cynthia Doulis, were recognized by the Art Educators of New Jersey (AENJ). Both students received t-shirts and certificates of achievement.
