VHS South spring instrumental concert set for May 20

The Instrumental Music Department at Vineland High School South will host the 61st Annual Spring Concert on Tuesday, May 20, beginning at 7 p.m. in the VHS South Auditorium.  Featured on the evening’s concert will be the VHS Stage Band, the VHS String Ensemble, and the VHS Marching Clan.

This concert, which is free and open to the public,  will be a bit of a trip down memory lane for the ensembles and the audience.  The band is asking former alumni members of any of these programs to come out for a night of music and memories.  At the end of the concert, there will be a special tribute to anyone that has been involved in the past.

The Marching Clan recently returned from Virginia Beach capturing 2nd Place honors in Concert Band Competition and Grand Champion honors in Parade Competition, also receiving awards for Best Percussion and Best Color Guard.
