Landis School Academic Awards Ceremony

Forty-five students in grades 6-8 who earned all A’s at Landis Middle School were honored with gold medals at a recent awards ceremony held at the school.

Some students from Veterans Memorial School attending classes at Landis this year because of renovations to their building were among those recognized.

Another 97 students received silver medals for attaining all A’s and B’s, and 119 more were recognized for having no grade below a C.

Two students – Frank Aponte and Daniela Villaman --- received certificates for reaching the 150 hours as part of the 100 Book Challenge program.
