Sept. 4	Thursday	Schools open. First day for all pupils.
Oct. 10 & 13	Friday & Monday	Staff Workshop-District Based (7 hours) Schools closed. Observance of Columbus Day, Legal Holiday, Schools Closed.
Nov. 6 and 7	Thursday & Friday	New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) Convention. Schools closed.
Nov. 10 & 11	Monday & Tuesday	Observance of Veterans' Day, Legal Holiday. Schools closed.
Nov. 27 & 28	Thursday & Friday	Thanksgiving Recess. Schools close on November 26 after legal attendance day* (Thanksgiving Day, Legal Holiday)
Dec. 24	Wednesday	Winter Recess. Schools close on December 23 after legal attendance day* (Christmas Day, Legal Holiday) (New Year's Day, Legal Holiday) Schools Closed. Classes resume on Jan 5.

The last regular school day for pupils will be on June 16. If days are lost because of bad weather, extreme heat or other reasons, additional days shall be added to the June calendar.

* Legal Attendance Day - Minimum of 4 hours required.

School closings, delayed openings and early dismissals due to poor weather conditions will be broadcast on the following FM radio stations: WVLT-92.1; WBSS-97.3; and WMGM-103.7. On AM radio, listen to: KYW-1060; WMIZ-1270; and WMVB-1440. (School Code 950-delayed opening 5-950)

Information will also be broadcast on cable Channel 9 and on QBC Channel 2.
