Board of Education members are unpaid community volunteers chosen in a special spring election to serve staggered three-year terms.

Vineland Board of Education Named One of Top 10 Tech-Savvy School Districts Nationwide Stephen Dantinne, Technology Supervisor for the Vineland Public Schools, has announced that our district has been named as one of the top ten technologically innovative school districts in the nation. "Although we placed for a few years, this year we are the only New Jersey district," he said. Dantinne added, "The competition is getting tougher with more districts participating across the country. Some of the new categories subsection are public and staff online surveys, e commerce, and other new and upcoming technologies." This is the third consecutive year that Vineland Public Schools has earned this recognition; Vineland was also chosen in 2004. Read more

Electronic Board Meetings

Several years ago, the district instituted a new approach to the traditional school board meetings. The VBOE now employs a web-based approach to accessing all of the documentation. This reduces the amount of paper documents a school board must review and analyze during its normal operations.

The public is invited to attend at the Vineland Public Schools Administration Building located at 625 Plum Street.

Vineland Board of Education Work Sessions are held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month. Board Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month.
