Several the members of the Drama Club have been involved since first grade and a few since kindergarten. Many alumni have gone on to star in productions held at their middle school. The Drama Club can also boast that several of the alumni are attending high school at the "Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts" based out of the Gloucester County Institute of Technology. The Dane Barse Drama Club is currently rehearsing for The Broadway Junior version of Annie.
Dane Barse Camera Crew
The Barse Camera Crew actually consists of several crews, manned by third and fourth grade students. Under the direction of Mr. L, Barse's technology coordinator, students in the crew are trained to independently operate videocameras and related equipment to produce Barse's daily morning announcements and dismissal programs held over our closed-circuit TV. The Camera Crew also produces various commercials or other recordings throughout the year, and with new computer programs, hope to create even more impressive productions in the years ahead.

S.I.T.E. is a part of the Enrichment Program offered at Barse School. Members are required to invent something or improve and existing invention, maintain a log, and present their work to a panel of judges. Math 24 Club
Math 24 Club is a Fourth Grade Club for students who are very good in math. The object of the game is to make the number 24 using the four numbers on a game card. You can add, subtract, multiply and divide. Use all four numbers, but use each number only once. This game builds strong mental-mathematics and problem-solving skills, as well as sharpen concentration. Club meets Tuesday Afternoons at 4pm and Thursday Mornings at 8am.
