tudents and staff members recently attended a presentation by former women's college basketball coach, Cheryl Littlejohn.
Coach Littlejohn, now a motivational speaker for the Learn It Systems program, focused on the students' abilities to learn and to achieve.
And to the staff, she stressed the importance of working to build educational partnerships with parents, students, teachers and the community.
Learn It Systems consists of a group of educators, parents, and community members who believe in the potential of every student. Their purpose is to give students the opportunity to increase their academic achievement, particularly in reading/language arts and mathematics.
