Program Highlights:

  • The  WLL  offers short term skill enhancement in reading, writing, and math; communication; basic computer literacy; financial literacy;  job search; and employability skills to help customers secure or improve employment. 

  • The WLL utilizes a computer based delivery system with instructor support.

  • Featuring Quick GED ® attainment through comprehensive computerized  GED practice exams and test taking skills improvement.

  • The  WLL is a goal oriented program, customers will identify a goal that can be completed in 3-6 months. Some acceptable goals are:

      • GED ® attainment

      • Basic computer literacy

      • Post- Secondary education or training

      • Vocational training

      • Skills upgrade to enhance further career opportunities

      • Job attainment

  •   Two daily sessions are available: mornings 8:30 - 11:30 A.M. and afternoons 12:00-3:30 P.M.

  •    An employment counselor works closely with the WLL customers; counseling and job placement assistance services are offered.

The Workforce Learning Link is a holistic initiative created in partnership with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) and NJN Public Television.


All adult education services are provided
free of charge excluding the LPN
Licensed Practical Nurse program and a
small charge for Vocational and
